Air Traffic Control
The security of a reliable ground-to-air communications for civil and military airports.
Since 1999, MT is proud to provide standard or custom made products for AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL for Civilian and Defence airports.
All ATC systems require accurate and reliable solutions for airport communications. Call-sign confusion and identity response coming from wrong aircraft must be detected and cancelled. MT is leading this market as sole or preferred supplier providing FILTERS and POWER AMPLIFIERS with World’s best state-of-the-art performances and reliability.
Products portfolio includes all kind of filters and combiners manually or automatically tuned, multichannels combiners and multicouplers in Star-Point & Double Bridge Configuration, electronically tuned filters, high power amplifiers and custom made projects.
Revolutionary products such as closed-loop frequency tracking and the Automatic Ultra Octave Filter&Combiner 100-512 MHz (no gap in between) is one of the products coming from the excellence of the MT Reasearch&Design center.
MT has been awarded a contract by Indra Group for the exclusive supply of ATC filters on the FAA’s (Federal Aviation Administration) NEXCOM V3 program.

F.A.Q.
Why is MT unique closed-loop solution for ATC the world’s preferred choice?
The closed-loop circuit keeps filters constantly tuned to the desired frequency, regardless of natural filter drift caused by temperature, humidity, RF power, or aging.
It features the world’s smallest filter cavity, while also providing full, gap-free VHF–UHF broadband coverage. This allows the use of a single antenna and enables significant space reduction in operating control rooms.
Both technologies are patent pending.
What is another main advantage of using MT filters?
MT filters offer a very compact design covering the full VHF–UHF band, with either manual or automatic tuning and extremely low insertion loss.
The multi-channel combination capability allows a significant reduction of the control room equipment footprint.
Where are MT filters installed in ATC networks?
MT filters are installed in many of the world’s most important airports.
They are also used in all new FAA airports, where next-generation communication networks are being deployed.
