Public Safety
Products and systems to ensure Defense and Public Safety globally.
PMR: a wide range of product to your service
MT is leading the design, manufacturing and supply of components and systems for DMR and TETRA networks.
MT RF passive components and systems are today installed in Base Stations and used to build complex passive systems such as branchings for tunnels and in-building coverage where several communication standard share the same antennas or leaky cables. Products like filters, combiners and components in VHF, UHF and TETRA bands are the standard used for most of the radio networks.
MT is also proposing to the market innovative solutions for TETRA Base Stations with unmatched performances if compared to exhisithg solutions in the market. Complete rack supply for DMR networks including configuration, FAT and on-site installation is also an available option for the Customers.

F.A.Q.
What is “public safety communications” and why is it important?
Public safety communications refer to networks and systems used by police, fire, EMS and other emergency services to coordinate and respond to incidents — reliability and interoperability are essential in life-safety situations.
What technologies are emerging for public safety communications (e.g., PoC, 5G MC)?
Technologies include Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC), mission-critical LTE/5G communications, broadband data/video for first responders, and integration of IoT/remote sensing for situational awareness.
What future trends are expected in public safety communications?
Trends include increased use of 5G/NR for mission-critical services, more data/video communications, edge computing for real-time analytics, drone/robot integration, and non-terrestrial network support for remote/ disaster environments.
What are MT products in the PMR market?
All kinds of complex filtering solutions where co-siting and multi-band combinations impose stringent networking constraints.
